Time to upgrade your intruder detection alarm system with monitoring?

In these uncertain times it’s only natural to reflect and think about protecting the people and things we love the most. Whilst it might not be the alarm system itself you love – for anyone who has an alarm system, and let’s be honest you probably haven’t really used it for a while – one of the easiest and quickest things you can do is to look at upgrading your existing alarm system.

Now why upgrade you say? I don’t use it anyone, it doesn’t work properly, it always beeped at me, no one paid attention when it went off, it didn’t send me any notifications.

Sound familiar?…If so, read on!

So what is the first step in looking at upgrading or replacing an alarm system?

Your first step will depend on what type of system you have currently installed. If you have a standard alarm like a Bosch, DSC, DAS or similar – it makes perfect sense to switch to a monitored alarm system, where we can manage when the alarm goes off and how to respond to it – even if there is no one there.

Or, if you already have a monitored alarm by another company – that’s fine – we can still help you, or you might just want to check and compare that you aren’t getting ripped off by your current provider?

So why choose a monitored alarm system?

Most standard alarm system are fine at the one job they have to do – making a lot of noise – that’s supposed to scare the intruder away – a bit like the proverbial barking dog.

But if you’re not at home, or the intruder isn’t deterred by the siren, then they’ll have plenty of time to find your expensive electronics, valuable jewellery and irreplaceable heirlooms! It’s one thing to raise the alarm but really what you want is a response – and a timely response to that as well.

That’s where alarm monitoring comes in!

A monitored alarm sends a signal directly to the monitoring centre that has operators waiting 24×7 to respond. We can configure the response to not only notify you, but others, a nominated person (say a neighbour) who lives nearby, a patrol officer or even the police.

Unlike other security installers, we won’t sell you a system you don’t need. If you’re happy with your existing alarm system, just add on a monthly monitoring service for additional peace of mind. Best of all, there’s no lock in contract, so no long term financial commitment.

Adding extra features to your alarm system

Perhaps you want to keep a closer eye on your property with a high tech IP based CCTV camera security system. Or maybe you like the idea of a video intercom doorbell that shows exactly who’s calling. Adding extra components to your security artillery is easy. Many are controlled through one phone app, letting you view security camera footage, set your alarm remotely and even choose when your lights come on to welcome you home.

How does that sound? Considering upgrading? Feel free to give us a call, we’re here ready to chat with you, no obligation!
